Cairn Homes Montrose Limited intend to apply for Permission for a Large-Scale Residential Development (LRD) at this site, which previously formed part of the overall RTÉ Campus at Montrose, Donnybrook, Dublin 4. The site is located within the Simmonscourt Townland. The site is bounded to the north, west and south by existing construction of blocks 1-4 and 6-10. To the east/ south east is the remaining RTE Campus. The RTE Campus includes buildings in the Record of Protected Structures (RPS 8888). Mount Errol, a protected structure (RPS 7846), is located north west of the site.
